There are many teachers to choose from in Toronto and you have to make a choice. Many people make their choices based on class times and locations. This is completely understandable, however, these should not be your only factors. We ask you to consider the following questions:

• Do the teachers have an aesthetically pleasing look to their dance?
• Do the teachers dance with masculinity and femininity?
• Can you see yourself dancing what the teachers are dancing (at some point in the future)?
• Would you prefer to learn from two people who form a dance partnership or from one teacher or their assistants?

One aspect that is often ignored is that the Tango found in Buenos Aires looks and feels completely different than what is usually found abroad. As well, Argentine Tango is a culture that can be best understood by living it rather than visiting it. We are two of very few teachers in Toronto who have lived and studied Tango extensively in Buenos Aires. While there, we discovered the “feeling”, we danced as the locals do, and we lived the culture. For these reasons, we offer you the chance to learn the Argentine Tango of Buenos Aires.
