GENERAL INFORMATION
Private lessons cost $80 per hour and are taught at our apartment. Should you want to take lessons at another location, a travel fee will be added to the cost of each private. In addition, should you want to take the lesson in a studio, you will be required to reserve the studio (with our help) and pay the rental fee.
PACKAGES
We offer the following packages at discounted prices*:
5x 1 hour lessons = $360 (save $40)
(All lessons in the package must be used within 3 months of the first lesson)
6x 1.5 hour lessons = $630 (save $90)
(All lessons in the package must be used within 4 months of the first lesson)
*If lessons are not used within the given time frame, they will be recalculated as separate single lessons with no discount.
*There are no refunds given once payment is made.
Why is there a time limit on packages?
The simple answer: We want to see your Tango improve.
The long answer: When students schedule their lessons weeks apart, we (the student and the teachers) spend more time reviewing concepts taught in the previous lesson than moving forward in the new lesson. That said, if students would like to commit to individualized learning, we believe students should take a minimum of one lesson every 2 weeks.
CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel your private lesson less than 24 hours before the appointment, you will be required to pay a $25 cancellation fee. We often have other people requesting privates for the same day/time, but without enough notice it is nearly impossible to fill that spot at the last minute.
PAYMENT
In this day and age many of us no longer carry cash in our wallets. Please do so the day you have a private lesson with us. Should you forget to bring the payment for the lesson, you must still pay us on the same day. There are many banks located nearby. Please come to the lesson on time and after the class you can go to the bank.
PUNCTUALITY
The time for which your private lesson is booked is the time which instruction will occur. Should you arrive late, it is at our discretion whether or not we will or can make up the time at the end of the lesson. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early in order to put your shoes on and begin on time.
