What We Dance and Teach

We truly believe there is a great deal of confusion regarding Argentine Tango. Argentine Tango, the social dance originating and found in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is not the tango seen in stage productions, dance shows, or movies. Neither is it an acrobatic affair meant for highly skilled dancers. Argentine Tango is a dance that virtually any person can participate in, regardless of age, size, and dance experience. It involves chest to chest contact in a close embrace (primarily), dancing simply within the music, and focusing on your partner.

Our Argentine Tango reflects what is seen in all the traditional milongas (social dancing venues) of Buenos Aires. It also reflects our age, but does not attempt to be "different" or "trendy". Due to our dance background, we seek an aesthetically pleasing look for our Tango. However in the end, Argentine Tango is not an externally represented dance, but a feeling found in the movement between a couple dancing.
